The Opening Window

This area lists the menu items of the system. It also shows the tools, help, and username.

This special type of toolbar contains one or more fields that can be used when performing a quick search. It allows the user to quickly find records in the database by entering a code or a description on the tool bar and pressing the Enter key. The search fields are always available on the desktop and the user can easily change search criteria and re-run the search.

This contains rows of information returned by the Search option.

A list of folders based on the selected top item.

This is the area where your selected module displays the outcome of your choice, such as the Personal window. It is where the Payroll and HR information is displayed and entered.

The To Do List will display any workflow tasks which have been assigned to the user currently logged in. To approve and mark the task as complete, double-click on any of the tasks to review and action them.

This area shows who has a birthday in the next seven days.

The user's profile is displayed along with a link to edit them (Edit Profile). It also lists leave balances and an option to apply for leave.
